Paradise cafe to Idlewyld
Day 11
Slept at a sweet boulder field atop a mountain. Windy night. Woke up and hiked 7 miles in a cold gusty and misty morning to the one and only paradise cafe! Waited til 10:40 to get a burger- the Jose burger with jalapeño, Swiss, mushrooms, bacon, avocado. Uh! Amazeballs. Got a ride into idlewyld with snort and her boy friend. There is a fire closure on the pct so the options were: alternate route that's out of the way and not on the trail, deadly road walk, or hitch a ride on the road to idlewyld. Staying in a cabin tonight with 5 other friends. Probably gonna wine and pizza by the fire place :) oh and this town is quite quaint- as quaint as can be. Just putzing around the town and hanging in this warm coffee shop. Resting my body :) ahhhhhh!!!!
