Camped with Switch in a three walled shelter right by the high bridge of steheiken. A man named blue and an '03 thru hiker, pony express joined us. I read aloud the begining of the story "the last unicorn". Very enchanting and imaginative. Gorgeous writing. Fun to read aloud.
Switch wasn't feeling well and neither has gizmo. I ended up hiking further than them. I'm at rainy pass. It's a highway. I'm just camped by the parking lot and outhouse. Met a man named Ed, friends with Anish, the speed record breaker woman. He gave me a cookie and some water!
